My Eagle Project was the restoration & Renovation of Family History Signs at the Dublin Heritage Center. The project was about removing all the signs (15) and cleaning them, sanding them down, applying varnish or pin along with a sealant. This was then followed by painting the letters on all the signs which required very steady hands, focus, attention to detail and a whole lot of time. There was a great turnout for my project and many of the Troop 874 members as well as adults participated. Mr. Stephen Rockwell is my Eagle mentor and Mrs. Elizabeth Isles is the Director of the DHC - both were very helpful and guided me through the entire process.
